Creative Process
I create out of my personal quest to convey the messages that come to me through my connection to Spirit. My intimate dialogue with the Universe is supported through the creative process. As I transform my visions into a tangible form they take on a life of their own. I communicate my understanding of this guidance through my artwork so that others can also benefit from these inspirations, gifts and lessons.
Various animals, birds, and plants come to me through my experiences in the natural world and by way of my dreams. I create with intention and am able to evoke the necessary elements that my muse has to offer. For further inspiration I look to the various symbolism, tales, alchemy, and depictions of my subjects. I have multiple sketchbooks on hand to record, compose, transcribe, and play with my visions. Color, texture, and lighting play an important part in conveying the mood and conjuring up the proper amount of magic that each creature or element has to share. Although I love exploring all types of visual media, acrylic paint, watercolor, & wood burning are my favorite means of expressing my craft!

Animal and Plant Medicines
I revere Animal and plant Medicines as our truest teachers. Their history can date back further than human memory. They have been revered over the arc of time by cultures across the world existing alongside us for generations. While they are adaptable to a forever changing environment, their guidance is consistent. Their gifts continue to be valuable to our human experience now as they were for our ancestors.
